Orleans Saints is one football team that has been dealt with
several unfortunate incidences the past few years. In 2005, Hurricane
Katrina damaged the Louisiana
Superdome enough to force the Saints
to play their home opener at Giants
Stadium in New York. Other
games were split between the Alamodome in Texas and Tiger
Stadium in Louisiana. On September 25, 2006 the Saints returned to their
new dome and played in front of a sold-out crowd on national
television. Their victory against the Atlanta Falcons won them
a 2007 ESPY award for "Best Moment in Sports." Go Saints!
The New Orleans Saints are one of six teams who have never played in the Super
Bowl. During the 2006 season, they defeated the Philadelphia Eagles in a heated divisional game, but lost to the Super Bowl bound Chicago
